From Gilroy, California to the Basque region in Spain, people throughout the world are gathering in growing numbers to celebrate one of the World's Most Potent and Flavorful Herbs: Garlic.

Garlactica 2008 was the First Annual Sandhill Farms Garlic Festival.  It was a full moon event organized to celebrate and honor Garlic in the mountains of northern Utah.

However, there is still color full brilliance of another to be savored, the abundance and vast array fo autumn hues in edible form - Squash and Pumpkins. Countless varieties, highly nutritious, scrumptious, sunny hues of sweet, creamy orange fleshed  winter squash.

logo_wolf_mountain.gifWolf Mountain is hosting the 3rd Annual Howl Fest on Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.  This free community event offers fun for the whole family, and is a great time for families to purchase discounted season passes for the 2007 – 2008 ski & riding season.  

 

The Chili Cook-Off is a sanctioned event, where official judging is done by 10-12 well qualified chili experts. The Utah State Chili Cook-Off winner will receive $500.00 in cash and move on to the national competition. The public will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to sample three different types of chilis and there will be a people’s choice competition for those willing to compete but not at the sanctioned level. Proceeds from the Chili Cook-Off will go to benefit the Ogden Rescue Mission. Very serious competitors are expected from all over the mountain west region.

The winner will receive a season pass to Wolf Mountain.

Combining food, live music and an artist for a unique Experience.

The Cooking Delight Experience is a cooking presentation combined with live music and an artist. It is designed to teach people cooking skills, tips and original recipes in a unique and entertaining fashion; to inspire to "Be an Artist in Your Kitchen". Each artist paints an image that represents and exemplifies the sights, smells and tastes that inspires them during the event. We get to see the final painting at the end. A musician adds fun to an upbeat ambience!
