Thursay, June 4th, 2009, Mark your calendar fora New Fine Art Gallery opening in Ogden. Tami, owner of Artists & Heirlooms and Kris, owner of Wilkerson Fine Art were both looking for a partner to elevate spaces through art and low and behold each found what they were looking for! “I had wanted to expand our gallery into Ogden and the space that Artists & Heirlooms had available was perfect,” said Kris Wilkerson.
A true community event full of awesome Artists, Photographers and Potters with over 35 pieces in our show along with 15 donated pieces for silent auction. Adorned with music, food and gift certificates donated by Historic 25th Street business and restaurants this is bound to be a fun event.
Powder Mountain is hosting its first annual ski benefit on Friday, April 24 for the family of Brett S. Earl. Earl, a resident of Eden , died unexpectedly of heart attack on April 11, 2009 at the age of 39. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the Earl family – Darnelle, Riley, Raj, Taj and India .
Powder Mountain will open Sundown Lift and Lodge from noon – 8pm on Friday, April 24. The fun of skiing and sledding in springtime conditions will be enhanced by a live music, a silent auction and a barbeque. A snowcat will be escorting non-skiers on scenic tours of Lightning Ridge. A minimum donation of $15 per person will provide participants with either a Sundown lift pass or one ride on the Lightning Ridge snowcat.

Masterful rug hooking - an unusually beautiful and textural exhibit of amazing folk art by Arline Keeling, and her friends (all local hookers) is on display during the month of March at Artists and Heirlooms, 115 Historic 25th Street in Ogden. The exhibit includes 25+ Hand-Hooked Rugs of different styles and design.
